I have used BLURB for this
https://www.blurb.comand been very happy.
You can prepare the book 'offline' using their software Bookwright, which is an advantage I find. It is easy to move the pages around and add text as necessary.
Once you have registered with them you start getting emails for discounts and the trick is (and I am sure it is the same for similar sites) to wait for the good discount.
Blurb frequently have a 40% discount. But very occasionally they have a 45%
When you upload photographs they tell you if they are not of sufficient quality. Sometimes it is just a matter of shrinking them slightly. Other times a rescan and higher resolution is required.
