St Margaret, Westminster Baptism Records
« on: Saturday 05 June 21 12:37 BST (UK) »
Hello!

I managed to find an 1825 baptism record for Alfred Robert John Taylor on FindMyPast but there is no image attached.. usually i'd then search on Ancestry for the image but this record isn't on there... does anyone know if there is anywhere online to view the images? i just wanted to check the occupation of the father to make sure it is the correct family.

Have you tried Ancestry?

Unfortunately not. FindMyPast lost the licence for the Westminster records to Ancestry, but Ancestry haven't yet uploaded the images for St Margaret's. They have a few bishop's transcripts, but not for 1825.

The originals are at Westminster Archives, but access there is pretty difficult at present. You could try emailing them for assistance? Archive staff are generally being very helpful at the moment.
