Where is the Registration Office in the District of Saint Asaph
« on: Wednesday 09 June 21 00:46 BST (UK) »
Hi

I have ancestors who married at 'Register Office in the District of Saint Asaph in the Counties of Flint and Denbigh'.  They married in 1917.

Please can anyone tell me where the Register Office was?
I see online that it is currently in Rhyl, but it doesn't look like an old building. Did it move?

The groom was a 'Licensed Victualler + Ship Builder' and his residence was the 'Bee Hotel [and I think it then says Rhyl]'.

Thank you

Hi, Don't know where the Superintendent Registrar's Office was in 1917, presumably somewhere in St Asaph. Suggest you ring the current Office and see if anybody there knows. Alternatively contact North East Wales Archives https://www.newa.wales/
