Edward Green JEFFERY b Westerham 1819

Edward Green JEFFERY the illegitimate son of Sarah JEFFERY was baptised 13th June 1819  in Westerham, Kent
Does anyone know if there are any bastardy records from this era, that might help with identifying the father.
It is suspected that an Edward GREEN, b 1797 possibly later marrying in Chevening to Elizabeth BURR, might be a candidate. He is described in 1841, 1851, 1861 as a tailor.
Edward probably born in Westerham 1797, baptised 15th Oct 1797 to William GREEN and Jane PAIGE
