I've recently obtained my late father's WWII army records and he has an entry that baffles me - Granted privilege leave with L.R.R.A. What is L.R.R.A.???

Greetings, and a warm welcome to Rootschat.

Our wise and knowledgeable military Rootschatters were faced with the acronym LRRA a few years back, and came up with Lower Rate (of) Ration Allowance.
