Could anyone help me with the parents marriage please, before I potentially order the wrong certificate?

William JONES and Gwen WILLIAMS

... were living at Chapel Street, Carnarvon in Oct 1853 when their eldest child (Gwen) was baptised 19 Oct 1853 (Llanbeblig parish register).

The census says that Gwen was from Llanbeblig,
and William was from Llanwenllwyfo, Anglesey or Llangefni, Anglesey. I think that William was the son of John. I don't know Gwens parents.

A well known Ancestry website begining with 'A' has the images of the Llanbeblig marriage register but the 1853ish period is missing! It does have the banns book for the same parish but I can't see William JONES/Gwen WILLIAMS on it. I checked period 1850-1854.

Any suggestions please?

It might be worth contacting the local Register Office or Gwynedd Achives to see if they will check the certificate prior to ordering. It worked for me on one occasion.

From http://www.northwalesbmd.org.uk, a marriage of William Jones and Gwen Williams took place at St Peblig in 1853.

From the date of Gwen's birth on the tree, a person matching her was living in Chapel Street in 1841 and 1851. Her parents were John, a mariner, and Ellin. However, there is another Gwen, daughter of John and Anne.

Ellin, of Smithfield (same as baptism of Jane), was buried on 14th January 1847 age 57.

WILLIAMS, JANE mmn OWEN
GRO Reference: 1839 D Quarter in CARNARVON UNION Volume 27 Page 294

Possible marriage of John and Ellin on 19 Aug 1822 in Llanbeblig and first baptism, of Ellin, on 26th October 1823

I don't know when either of them died. They were both on the 1911 census.

Do you mean Richard and Winifred or their children? Richard and Winifred Jones of Tyddyn Badin are buried at Pentir Non Denominational Cemetery.

And their daughter Martha Winifred is buried in the plot next to them under her married name of Morris.

Details available if you want them.

Winifred, wife of Richard Jones, Tyddyn Badin died 11 11 1935 aged 70yrs.
Richard Jones died 1 4 1939 aged 70yrs.

Martha Winifred, wife of W H Morris, Tyddyn Badin died 17 3 1934 aged 26yrs.
William H Morris, Cefn Coch Farm, Deiniolen died 15 1 1956 aged 56.

Above details from the Monumental Inscriptions of Pentir Non Denominational Cemetery by Gwynedd Family History Society.

Llanddeiniolen Parish Church marriage records show marriage on 12 10 1932 of William Henry Morris, 34 yrs, Tal y Braich, Deiniolen, father David Morris and Martha Winifred Jones, 25yrs, Tyddyn Badin, father Richard Jones.

There are quite a few trees on Ancestry for Richard and Winifred etc. They suggest that Owen Rees Jones married in Warwickshire in June 1941 and died 1978. You'd need to study the trees and confirm the information though.

Richard Jones was born abt 1869 to William Jones and Gwen ??

Could anyone help me with the parents marriage please, before I potentially order the wrong certificate?

William JONES and Gwen WILLIAMS

... were living at Chapel Street, Carnarvon in Oct 1853 when their eldest child (Gwen) was baptised 19 Oct 1853 (Llanbeblig parish register).

The census says that Gwen was from Llanbeblig,
