Uppingham Yards

When searching the late Victorian censuses I have come across a number of Yards in this Rutland town. These include Bullocks Yard, Unicorn Yard and Hope's Yard. I realise these all arose from North Street but is it possible to localise them on an old map. I think I can visualise Rope Walk on the OS map of about 1893.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

I had a funny feeling that Hope's Yard might have been Bullock's Yard originally
