The Northumberland Farm index 1860 is available to download, it can be very useful to try to suss out where the 'abode' in parish records may be/ have been.

Thanks for this link Boo -- wish I had when I was looking at my north Northumberland ancestors. It will come in handy as I am now looking at ancestors from the Tyne valley.

Pleased it was of use Allan, there is a link on the Resources Board but its now out of date. I have now reported it to the moderators with the correct link so hopefully it can be amended when they have time.

I downloaded and saved the pdf file to my computer, I tend to do that as you never know when sites may change links - or sites sometimes close down completely.
