Hello All
While doing my family tree one of my Relatives Robert Robson was born 1778 at Brocksbushes, was this a Village or  Hamlet?

Thanks

Though its a good few years later the 1860 Northumberland Farms Index has

Brocks Bushes Farm , in the Township of Styford, Parish of Bywell St. Andrew

Meant to post a link to the map so that you can see side my side Brock Bushes in 1860 and a modern image (Brock Bushes now a farm shop and a 'pick your own' soft fruit farm in the summer months)

Nice one AllanUK, I had just loaded NLS maps when you posted the first map - you are way quicker than I am :-)

The OP didn't say which parish the birth/baptism was in to give any clues but this Brocks Bushes looks like a very good contender and I can't see anything else like it in the Farms index.

This looks likely to be the correct baptism, 20th September 1778
