Hi, I don't think this is my Elinor, her Father's name was Thomas Williams. She married my Gt Grandfather William Hopkins in 1843 Trevethin, and states on certificate that her father's name was Thomas Williams. Problem is she was a Williams. Previous to this date she had married a David Jones. She was late Jones formerly Williams. Also on Childrens birth certificates it states  late Jones formally Williams. Thank you for help. Regards Linda

parish entry for the 1843 marriage has Thomas Williams collier, witnesses James & Mary Saunders who signed, bride and groom both marked. James also witnessed the previous marriage on the register & the following one so he could be the parish clerk or another church official.
The vicar noted that the marriage was on Saturday morning.   :D

Hi, thank you for your help, I will look into marriage info that Jebber sent. There is only one problem Eleanor's father was a collier. Re the marriage in 1843 sent by Osprey I have that marriage certificate, Eleanor states herself as a spinster. On other info I have Eleanor in 1843 was Administrex for David Jones. Also on William and Eleanors Childrens certificates it states she was late Jones formally Williams. Thank you regards Linda.
