Denbigh Burials
« on: Sunday 27 June 21 17:59 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help me locate the burial ground for John Arkinstall please?  Here is a photo of the Denbigh Burial Register but I don't know where to start my search.

His address was Henllan Street & the image should show it was in the Parish of Denbigh in the county of Denbigh

Many thanks

Info is here

https://newspapers.library.wales/view/3888965/3888969/42/Arkinstall

For those who don;t speak welsh

ARKINSTALL August 25 at Penybryn, Henllan street, Denbigh Mr. John Arkinstall, gardener, aged 63. He left behind a widow, 6 sons and a daughter to grieve. The funeral took place at Whitchurch cemetery on Saturday

I think this may be at the church of St. Marcella

Findagrave notes a Jane Arkinstall is buried there

Further digging in the papers suggests Jane was his wife (first wife?). His son JR Arkinstall was also buried at Whitchurch cemetary

Henllan Street runs in a North West direction from the centre of Denbigh towards Henllan on the B5382.

St Marcellas Church Whitchurch - is to the East of Denbigh.  Find the Ruthin Road A 525 from Denbigh.

Follow for 1 mile and take left turn for Llandyrnog/Llangwyfan - Church is immediately on your left.
