McGeoch Campbell
« on: Wednesday 30 June 21 04:08 BST (UK) »
Would anyone have any further information of the siblings of Patrick McGeough and Mary Ann Campbell.
On some birth records of their children she comes up as Chalmers. They were married in kilmore parish in 1863 and Patrick died in Scotland in 1912 and Mary Ann died in 1913 in Scotland.

Patrick’s parents were John McGeoch and Nancy Cannon or Carron and Mary Ann’s parents were George Campbell and Mary O’Neill

Patrick is also on the Griffith valuation at one point but I can’t find anything for their parents or siblings beyond their wedding record. Does anyone have them on their three and have further information on their parents and siblings?

Religion? Do you have the marriage record? Only a few marriages in Kilmore RC records for 1863.

On Griffiths Valuation in Lurgancot, Kilmore parish, Patrick is noted -- three houses away is Ann M'Geogh who is likely his mother (Ann and Nancy are interchangeable). The original Griffiths was taken in about 1864 in Co. Armagh. In the revision books available online at PRONI, Patrick's land changes hands in 1872 (name illegible) and then again in 1874 to a Felix Morgan.  Anne's land changes hands in 1866 to a Robert Johnston.

1841/51 Census fragment (from pension applications in the early 1900s) shows a Bernard McGeogh and Mary Morgan who are likely related to your group:

http://censussearchforms.nationalarchives.ie/search/cs/details.jsp?id=18004

Indicates that researchers did not find the family, but did find Bernard, aged 26, not married, living at home with his parents Patrick & Sarah who were married in 1826.

According to indexes there are baptisms here https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0223 to those parents.

John McGeogh 1st April 1861
Mary McGeough 15th January 1864
Margaret McGeough 20th November 1866

I can’t see a civil birth for Margaret.

Here is Anne McGeough in 1872.

Guys it’s actually John McGeough, Nancy Cannon, George Campbell and Mary O’Neill I’m looking for the information on and any children they may have had except for Patrick and Mary Anne. I already have all the information being posted about Patrick and Mary Anne do not looking for any of that.

I thought you might already have that but others who might want to help may not.
For example, you have Patrick in Griffiths Valuation. Is that definitely your Patrick?
I am sure you will have researched that though.
One child has a Godparent with a McGeough surname and I also notice that at least one of Patrick’s children shows Annahue as residence.
Griffiths has a John McGough there.
There is a death for Anne McGeough, 75 yrs residence Annahue.
