BLACK born Greenock

One of my ancestors, I believe was born in Greenock, in what then was Renfrewshire on 15 September 1842 , the son of John Black and Elizabeth Thompson.
I think I have hime emigrating to America in early 1890's as he appears to get married to ANN P GOODACRE in Sep 1892 in Washington DC.
I have them on the 1900 and 1910 US Census with one son born in Scotland to a first wife and five children to Annie.
Can anyone point me in the direction of any of these children after 1918, when John dies again in Washington DC?  I have looked on FindMyPast only, as I have the subscription.
There may be a number of chidlren of at least one of his sons, a George W Black born about 1903, who married, I think, Agnes Hopkins, born in North Carolina about 1900/1901

The only marriage I can find for the names you mention is below, no children born there.

I cannot find the family on census returns in Greenock 1851 – 1871.

I note you state that he married in the USA age 50, do you think he was married in Scotland before?
