At last getting back to you many thanks for the Mackay family on my last post
On top of the paper Is G Mackenzie
as I stated a young lady from New Zealand contacted me over a years ago saying through Ancestry she found a match with my DNA .It has cost me a few credits on Scotland People I can tell you but no luck at all
George Mackenzie note the Mackenzie mine are McK but we've been down this road before my grandfather was born in New Zealand on his birth certificate I bought from New Zealand it is Mack

Gordon ( James ) Donald Mackay 1906-1958 !!!!!!!!! I did get this probate for her from Family Search I think and he was a great uncle to the lady and Alexander Nelson ( Alex ) MacKay 1908-1960
I'm not sure if some of this family were born in Scotland but Gordon Donald's death was New Zealand
The only way I thought there could be a relation is my great great grandmother was Janet Mackay Gordon b 1812 -1898 Kildonan daughter of James Gordon and Margaret Sutherland .Iv'e never found out where the MacKay came from
Janet married Alexander McKenzie b 1811- 1894
Alexander comes from a George McKenzie 1757 I have most of this family
also I have a the birth of an Alexandrina Mackenzie b 2.9.1860 father John Mackenzie and Isabella Sutherland father at the birth spells his name John McKenzie born Backie this is not my John Mckenzie from Gairloch
There are also head stones for these families too
she also gave me a couple of names
