Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Able Seaman, George Robert Papworth - Royal Navy. H M S Wellesley. Service No :- P/JX 268345 - died 27/9/1941. Injured by train accident Huntington North Station.
Buried Brampton Cemetery. Huntingdonshire.

The private memorial marking the grave of Able Seaman Papworth no longer provides adequate commemoration. The Commission is in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

George was 28 years old and the son of George Robert and Mary Papworth of Brampton.
