John Roots born c1768 Pinner/Harrow

Hi

I am trying to help a friend trace their family, they seem to have been in the Bushey/ Harrow pinner are for over 200 years. John Roots married Sarah Chennels in 1800 in Pinner and his burial record shows he was 60 when he died in 1829. Any help would be much appreciated.

No help with the origin of John Roots sadly, but Sarah was a widow when married, this seems a likely a fit…
John Chennells married Sarah Putney (both signed x) 20 Feb 1797, St Mary Watford, Herts
George Chennells, s/o John & Sarah baptised 18 Feb 1798, St Mary Watford, Herts
John Chennells, buried 11 Dec 1798, St Mary Watford, Herts.

Sarah Chennells (widow) married John Roots, bachelor, 1 Sept 1800, St Mary Watford, Herts. John signed, Sarah x, witnessed by Martha Field and William Field
