Alice Gertrude Sarah Vine born Q4 1877 Surrey, England

Alice was the daughter of James Vine and Alice Lucy Clarke.
Alice emigrated 11 Aug 1883 to Queensland on 'Duke of Buckingham' and married Alfred Easton 2 Sept 1896 and had 2 children with him, Elsie b 2/7/1897 and Alfred James b 4 Jun 1898 and died 12 Nov 1961 San Francisco, USA. Alfred died 8/5/1902.
I'm wondering if Alice married again in Australia and to whom and when and where she died, and, what happened to Elsie after her birth.

Think she married a Richard Thomas OLIVE presume in Australia but do t see it yet.

I'm thinking that the one who married in the USA is the wrong one as Alice's father wasn't German.

She wasn’t married in US.  Rather W.A.

Other details fit though. The two Easton children going by Olive have the right names and age

In 1920 she says father born England.
But in both she says she was born in Australia 😀

Once again though she was born in Godstone, Surrey, England not Australia; it's true that her parents emigrated when she was 5 so perhaps she thought she was born in Australia. Wonder if she had a birth certificate when she married?

What information is recorded about Alice on the actual marriage registration for her marriage to Alfred Easton? That would be first hand information and could help you validate your current findings.

majm, the marriage details were originally found by Jamjar on here, some years ago when I was searching for her in Australia.
