Queenstown Cemetery, Eastern Cape, headstone needs improving please
« on: Monday 12 July 21 19:14 BST (UK) »
Thomas Estcourt Rowles died on 11th May 1917, age 51.
He was serving with the 6th Regiment, South African Infantry.
He is buried in Queentown Cemetery, Eastern Cape, West Section, Grave 7.

This is now a dangerous place to go to take pictures so I have been told.
A member of the Tin Hat Club took this picture for me a few years ago.

If it could be made more readable I would be delighted.
Thank you for looking.

The very kind people at the War Graves Photographic Project might be able to help. https://www.twgpp.org/
I know they managed to get me a grave photo in Palestine a number of years ago.

The War Graves people don't have a copy of this headstone, although they have been very helpful in the past. I am told it is very dangerous to hang arouind this cemetery so that is maybe why.
But thank you for your input.
