Harold DUNN & Annie Louisa Isabel WARE

Hi All,

I am trying to find any info (birth etc) on Harold DUNN, believed to be born in Victoria to Annie Louisa Isabel WARE, no dates of birth or marriage for Harold......I know it's not much to go on but hoping for anything that may help.....thank you in advance.

With so little info - where does he fit in your FH and where did you get the info from re his mother?

Annie Louisa was b 1896 Strahan according to a tree on Ancestry & died 1994 Melbourne

Only one son shown b 1936 Melbourne - Patrick Dennis Smith died 2008 Melbourne

There isn't a lot to go on I know, I was hoping I could find more to add to the family tree, his step grand-daughter passed on the info but wanted more, sorry there is no more to add, but thank you for taking the time to answer my query, greatly appreciated.

In the death notice of the man proposed as ANNIE LOUISA's father according to the online tree, (named as Harold Albert WARE), it is possible that the LOUIE mentioned is Annie Louisa.

However, she is Mrs SMITH not Mrs JONES, so that is an inconsistency!

Harold died by means not quite clear and his body was found in the Yarra river. Sept 1924

Harold Albert WARE was Annie Louisa's father......

Annie had 3 husbands, Cyril David JONES (no marriage certificate located)

John William SMITH, again no certificate of marriage located.

Harold DUNN to which nothing has been found regarding him.

Maybe she didn't marry Harold DUNN due to being in the SMITH name when her father passed.....confusing to say the least.

Sorry, I am confused. Are we looking for a marriage of Harold Dunn to Annie Louisa Isabel Ware?
Or the birth of Harold Dunn with a mother Annie Louisa Isabel Ware?

See page 25 of that B2455 file.   By September, 1922, his widow is noted as Mrs L Smith, but in January 1922 she was still recorded as Mrs L Jones.
