Hi all,

I am looking for her parents:

Margaret Ormerod, b about 1825/1826 (in Bury, Lancs - due to census 1851 Scout, Newchurch, Lancs / census 1861 says Cowpe (?) / census 1871 says Waterfoot)

The marriage certificate would confirm the father’s name.

Your choice looks quite possible
1841 505/4/6
Widow Ormerod and several children including Margaret, 16yrs.
The residence is Coupe.

 https://www.lan-opc.org.uk/  shows baptisms to this couple which match and also a burial of James Ormerod, 49 yrs of Cowpe on 2nd June 1841 at St Nicholas, Newchurch.
