Hi

Not sure if I have done a post on this but trying to find where I could possibly get hold of my great grand uncles war diary from WW1 in the 32nd division 125th infantry company k was a 2nd Lt till he got promoted when he was injured

What was his name?  Was the diary published?  If not, it's probably held by one of his descendants.

His name was Harry Healy Denning he was promoted to 1st Lt after he was wounded in august or September 1918 whilst still in the hospital

Is he the Harry H. Denning, born 1894 in South Dakota, who later lived in and was on the Board of Selectmen of Wakefield, Massachusetts?  [About 10 miles from where I grew up.  We used to play them in field hockey.  I wonder if his daughter was on the team.]

Yes that would be the same one, his adopted daughter Joyce and he had a sister grace who married Charles taggart my great grandparents

Have you tried the Wakefield Public Library?  They might know what became of Denning's papers or might even hold the diary among their historical documents.
