1851 Census (Durham). Township of Redworth?
« on: Monday 19 July 21 01:42 BST (UK) »
I'm fairly sure that the township on this census form is Redworth, but not sure what the writing is below it (New Grove Place is clear, but the writing above left is indecipherable to me).

Any help gratefully accepted!

Thanks.

Jut wondering if it's Hedworth (Parish - Hedworth, Monkton and Jarrow, South Shields RD)   as that is the only area  in Co Durham that has a New Grove Place in the 1851 listing.

Spot on, Gadget! That ties in very well with what I know of the family's movements between 1830 and 1851. Thanks for your help.
