Drumlough Baptism records
« on: Tuesday 20 July 21 11:53 BST (UK) »
Can anyone  tell me if baptism records for this church are online?  I see Rev. Samuel Crory was minister there and his name crops up in my family records for some reason.

You haven't said what period or denomination but Drumlough Presbyterian Church records can be found at PRONI- (MIC1P/359)
Baptisms, 1855-1943; marriages, 1871-1936. Marriage notices, 1853-1953.

Sorry Aghadowey, Samuel Crory was the first minister of this church, The first minister was Rev. Samuel Crory in 1819 .  My great grandfather was born around 1852 and I am still searching for his baptism.  He was Samuel Gray, father William Gray, born in Dromara Parish around 1852.

Unfortunately it looks as though the earlier surviving baptisms start 1855.

Aghadowey, thanks for that. No I hadn't seen it.  I just couldn't figure out why a grandson born in 1914 was named Samuel Crory Gray.  Well, we will never know now.  It will investigate Loughagry Presbyterian records to see if my g. grandfather was baptised there.  Thanks again.
