Alfred Smith gone missing in 1939
« on: Saturday 24 July 21 11:15 BST (UK) »
Hi Everyone    hope you are all safe and enjoying this warm weather
My Family in 1939 Electoral Roll
My Brother is Alfred Smith DoB October 1936 Derby
Father Frank George Smith 1911 Nottingham
Mother Maiden name Hunt  1914 Derby
They were living at 17 Loudon St Derby along with my sister Iris Smith Dob 1935.   in  the 1939 electral roll but Alfred although he was 2/3 years at the time is not shown at this address,
Could anyone shed any light on this please is there any reason why he would not be listed

Kind Regards

Is your brother still alive?  If so his details should be removed from your post.

Have you actually viewed the 1939 image?  Entries for persons under 100yrs old are redacted for privacy

There is a redacted entry (big black line thru name) immediately below the person born 1935

Birth was within the past 100yrs - death has not been noted for update purposes

If you google "redacted entries on 1939 register" there are lots of answers
