NSW Early Church Records Delays
« on: Friday 30 July 21 03:43 BST (UK) »
I ordered a Baptism on 28 June 2021 and received a message with receipt.  I use a transcription agent and received a message from them.
Writing to let you know that due to COVID restrictions in Sydney there is a delay with your transcription order ECR(pre 1856) can only be accessed from the City. As soon as we have it we will forward it to you
GOOD NEWS I received my Baptism on 28 July 2021 with message
Able to gain permission to go into the City this week to transcribe some outstanding orders.  Unsure when we will be able to do this in the future so there will be a delay with any future ECRs.  There is no delay with records after 1856 as able to access these from Home.

I thought every one should know.
