HI diddymiller and crisane.

diddymiller that would be wonderful thank you.  :)

crisane you are quite right (edited now) although his birth name was Edward Percy Blake with father Herbert Percy Blake and hopefully that is what the marriage will say as being his father.

His father died in 1901 so maybe there was a reason although the son was named as Herbert on the 1891 census for Loughborough. Father Herbert was not present.

Appreciate your help both of you.

Hi,
marriage not found Loughborough prs 1908 at All Saints / Emmanuel/ Holy Trinity - fiche 3 missing

Marriages for 1908 not yet indexed so couldnt search further Sorry. maybe one of villages but not in IGI Leics either so would be a big search through individual village lists.

Hi diddymiller.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look.

As they lived in Loughborough on the 1891 onwards I thought it may have been a C of E.

Saying that it could have been R.O. or on the missing fiche.

Ladyhawk I have found all the info you mentioned but thanks for listing may help someone else.

There seem to be a few porkies about the true records.

Really value the assistance.
