OK this is a long shot.  But I'm looking for someone called Cormac born around 1931ish.  Do have his mother name except I think she worked in o rourke mill in inniskeen Co. Monaghan his father was Patrick Hoey from channonrovk not married to his mother. Any ideas.   Where I might be able to get more information

Are you saying you do have his mother’s name? (Not sure if that was an error).
Indexes here

It would be Carrickmacross district I think.
I have had a quick look though and only one shows - mother’s maiden name is given though.

However, you might have success. Do you know what happened to the child?
Just thinking if she was sent away to give birth and then the child was given up, you might not get far.

Correct don't have mothers names just the details I already sent.   My dad only knows those details I'm afraid I might not get far.   But I told him I would try. Because that would be his half brother and he always wondered what happen to him.
Possibly cormac mother was sent to a mother and bady home or migrated I just don't know

Thanks...
