William Parker b.1828 Tooting - looking for parents and their parents

Hello everyone,
I'm really hoping someone can lead me in the right direction with my Parker family.
What I know for sure: William was born at Tooting in 1828, married at Guernsey in 1853 and died at Dunolly, Victoria in 1913. Our family still live in Victoria, Aus.
Now I'm pretty sure his father, also William was born in Surrey c. 1806 and his mother was named Sarah (nee Baker). They married 26 January 1826 in Wimbledon, St Mary, Surrey. They had at least one other child (James) and both boys were baptised in Tooting Graveney with their fathers occupation listed as gardener.
Anything other than this is pure guess work and I'm finding I'm going round and round in circles with possibilities. Hoping there's someone close to the area who might be able to shed some light.

Who did William marry in Guernsey in 1853, what was Williams occupation and what information is given for his father on the 1853 marriage

It's so confusing! I'm really worried I may never find credible facts about William (1806) and his wife Sarah.
His son William (1828) married Harriet Elizabeth Hansford (b1836 Guernsey). I have found a census document that I believe to be him and his brother James that lists them as being teacher of writing and professor of writing. He went to the Victorian Goldfields as a labourer, but once settled in Victoria became a photographer, artist and agent (I'm thinking gold exchange).

I love that you've found and confirmed Maria for me. I don't think there's any further children. Just to clarify though, William, James and Marias Fathers name was William (c.1806). It's he who I'm having no luck with.

How do you know that William Parker senior was born in 1806?

I believe the family you have in the 1841 census is not correct. The father William is a coachman, and that is a different family.

I think that's why I'm saying c. 1806...I'm not really sure My Dad had done research previously and had thought he was born in Surrey for some reason. I've picked up 1806 from somewhere. Would you have any ideas?
