Baptism of Joseph Dickinson born between 1760 and 1792

Hi rootschatters,

I am trying to find the baptism of Joseph Dickinson. He was born by the 3 April 1791, when his mother was buried.  His parents, Hugh Dickinson and Mary Ealand were married on the 5th July 1763 at Revesby, Lincolnshire.

I have checked FamilySearch, FreeReg, Ancestry and Findmypast giving a  date range from1760 to 1791.

The first mention that I have of him is in his grandfather, John Ealand's will, dated the 22nd May 1792.

Thanks you, I had those baptisms. It seems odd that Joseph's was not in the Revesby register. Unfortunately all that I know is that he was mentioned in his grandfather's will, dated 22nd May 1792.

Mary's entry in the burial register says she was aged 65 at her death in 1791 - if that's right she can't be Joseph's mother. Could you tell us where the 3 April 1791 date comes from? Is it a birth or baptism? Could Joseph have been the child of Hugh and Mary's daughter Mary?

Sorry, I may not have been very clear. I think he was most likely born between 1763 and 1772 and before his mother died in 1791 (and most likely before she was 45). I presume he would have been an adult when he was named in his grandfather's will otherwise presumably it would have said "when he reaches 21" or something similar.
