Sarah Hudd lacock wiltshire

Wonder if anyone can help looking for the parents of 5th great grandmother, i was informed that she was born around 1770 in Lacock Wiltshire.  She married James Knott and died around 1800 that is all the info I have got so I am looking for her ancestors, siblings etc.

The marriage took place 13 Oct 1793 at Lacock, they were both of the parish

ADDED The memorial inscription gives her age as 30 in 1800

Wiltshire baptism indexes are on FindMyPast and give a few possible Sarah Hudds in Lacock.  What were the names of her children

I only have two children Mary born 1790 and Jane 1794 both of Lacock

Seems likely that she is the Sarah Hudd, daughter of George & Jane Hudd, who was baptised on 16th September 1770 in Lacock, Wiltshire.

I am a big fan of Findmypast for its excellent search function but, in my experience, Ancestry has more images of the parish registers rather than just transcriptions.

Both FindMyPast and Ancestry offer 14-day free trials. If I were you, I would try out both of them (not at the same time, obviously, you want to maximise your freebies!) and see which one you like best. Just don't forget to cancel before the subscription renews, if you don't want to continue!
