Hi Bee

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello Oly,

These Hodgsons are confusing me.

My gg grandmother Hannah Hodgson was born 1820 in Walkington details consistent on the 1851 & 61 census.

The IGI has an extracted christening record for an Hannah Hodgson in 1820 in Walkington with the parent name being George and Mary.

There is a record of a marriage between George Hodgson and Mary Pickering in 1819 also in Walkington.

Hannah married Samuel Longhorn in Sept 1/4 1842 and my ggrandmother was born in December 1842 (I have birth cert).

I'm sure all the info you have given me will fit in somewhere but it looks as though I've got a bit of research to do yet.

Many thanks for your help and interest

Bee
