Smith + Sydney Electoral Roll
« on: Thursday 07 October 21 09:32 BST (UK) »
Is anyone able to assist by checking whether a Leslie Bruce Smith and Heather Francis Smith are living in Sydney somewhere between say 1966 and 1970.   Would be very grateful.

Please Remember that Rootschat is about helping each other with researching our family history's deceased ancestors, so please can you confirm that you already know that both the people you have named, are no longer living.

NSW historic electoral rolls are likely available at the NSW state library.  It may be coming out of lockdown shortly, but their Ask The Librarian service has email.

NSW has strict privacy rules, so a living person's name is sensitive  information, they have a lawful expectation to privacy of the individual.

RChat rules dont allow  posting names of the living.

Thank you for that advice, which I hadn't been aware of (should read fine print more often!).     As they married in Sydney in 1966, they could very well be still alive. Sorry to have raised the issue.
