I'm not sure how Brighton entered this story as Mrs J B Jamieson was a resident from New Zealand and had embarked in Cape Town (as per the Melbourne version of the Baradine passenger list: https://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/scripts/AutoSearch.asp?O=ID&Number=10366229&i=270).
