Hi
I'm looking for any information on JOHN MOLLOY b c 1811 Monaghan who was married to Anne nee Daly in Ireland.  This couple had three children born Ireland CHARLES, CHARLOTTE and MARY.  They all arrived in NSW on board the "Brothers" as immigrants in 1841.

John MOLLOY was Catholic, could read and write, aged 30 a Blacksmith, father HENRY MOLLOY also a Blacksmith and mother's name was MARY LAMB.

Anne MOLLOY age 28? –a house servant -  a native of Monaghan – the daughter of  Peter? DALY a carpenter – Roman Catholic – can read & write – person certifying character is James Johnston, Armagh – State of bodily health ? V Good. Brought out by A.B. Smith.

There may be births of two more Molloy children in 1842 Catherine and 1844 Margaret in the Bathurst area NSW I am following up on that now.  Kind regards and thanks Dianna

Regarding the father of Anne MOLLOY, looking at the shipping documents,
I think it is Edward DALEY, not Peter.

See superscript in the crease of the book.
The fist letter is E not P

Mmmm...
And likewise, the father of John MOLLOY while I agree it is most likely Hen, might also possibly be Ken.

Freely available NSW State Archives digitised passenger list for Brothers to Sydney May 1841

https://indexes.records.nsw.gov.au/ebook/list.aspx?series=NRS5316&item=4_4787&ship=Brothers

John, Anne and three children - Charles, Charlotte, Mary are at page 5.
There is a small family group that may be of interest - Owen and Susan DALEY and their son John - page 3 although Owen from Cork and Susan and their son from Belfast.

I am confident that Bathurst will as usual be helpful and go that extra bit towards sorting the enquiry.  :D

There is possibly a baptism as well in Clogher, Co Monaghan for a Maria (MARY) MULLOY, baptised September 1839 to Johannis (JOHN) and Anna Daly.  It's in Latin and a bit difficult to make out.  Possible I guess.

Maria Mulloy
in the Ireland, Catholic Parish Registers, 1655-1915 from ancestry.  Dianna

Hi Dianna
Were you needing anything from the Australian end or are you focused more on the origins of the family?
