Hy Folks,
Think this is the right place.

I am trying to find out when a Limited Company was incorporated.
What I know is:-

Booths Borough Bakery Ltd, Erskine Street, Hulme Manchester.
Was subject to  a C.P.O by Manchester City Council as part of the slum clearance programme in 1970.
Subsequently went into liquidation and a Meeting of Creditors was held on 11/09/1970 (London Gazette)
I know who the directors were and the General Bakery Manager was my late father.

Lastly where can I fnd an old map showing the streets of Hulme, Manchester before the C.P.O:

Grateful for any indications

There are several mentions for Booths Borough Bakery Ltd (Hulme) in newspaper reports from 1940-1955. The latter was a job vacancy advert. One 1954 report details an embezzlement charge involving a Supervisor who admitted to embezzling £55 16s belonging to his employers, and was sent to prison for three months. (I won't include the man's name here).

Most of them are in the Manchester Evening News, and one is in the Liverpool Echo.
If you search BNA's site (or FindMyPast's newspapers collection), search using "Booths Borough Bakery" and you'll get 8 results. It appears the address back then was 57 Cedar Street.

Yes  Cedar Street as well. They had a main door on Erskine Street and for some reason on Cedar Street, but that was always locked.  Going from memory.

The information would have been held at Companies House, but they only retain the records of dissolved companies for a maximum of 20 years from dissolution.

The earliest mention I've found for Booth's Borough Bakery is in the Manchester Evening News 2 March 1926, at which time the address was Elizabeth Street, Salford

Thank you, appreciate all three for your time.
First time I have embarked on "Companies".  I am trying to build a picture where my father was General Bakery Manager.  I can recall a lot of the business and people who worked there.
