Does anyone have any info on the Brinkley family? I have seen the name come up in regards to Travelers in the U.K. and I’m wondering if any Brinkley’s moved to the United States. I’m hoping to find a connection between my grandmother Brinkley here in the United States to Brinkley’s in the U.K.
It appears  that some were Travelers and some were rather wealthy, and I’m wondering to whom I might be related. Any info or stories would be great! Thank you!

My many times great grandfather was John Brinkley, born in Delaware USA 9 September 1796. That is where my trail runs cold. I don’t know who his ancestors are or when they may have come from England. I did run across an online posting a while ago regarding a Mikhail Brinkley who came from England to the United States in the 1600’s. I believe, from what I read, that he was an indentured servant. I have no idea if I am any relation of his.
