My GF served in the Gordon Highlanders during WW1; he was born and bred in Aberdeen. He made it home after the War and died in 1971. I've had his personal effects for many years and within these are a few photos of men who I presume were his army mates. As these are not "my men" and someone may be looking for them, it would be great if I was able to get these photos back to the relevant families. I'm fairly new to this site and my previous attempts at posting photos were a disaster, so I'll just give the relevant details in individual posts instead as its easier

"Yours sincerely, J (or it could be I) Duff, Gordon Highlanders".If anyone thinks this may be their man, please get in touch. Would just like to add that, if this is not successful, I'm going to hold onto these photos anyway as I wouldn't dispose of them
