Mansfield Marriage

Looking for the marriage of:-

Charles Mason 1904-1991 - born and died in Mansfield.  On ANC(no subs) it states he married Florence Dawson (aka Draper) on several trees.
I have checked BMDUK with 1924-1960 and nil. Checked on FS and nil.
Given he was born and died in Mansfield I am assuming he married there.
I only need to know when he married.  Have all info on parents, siblings etc.
Grateful for any suggestions.

Have you tried checking the 1939 Register?

I can see two birth registrations in 1904 in the Mansfield Registration District - Charles George and Charles Cuthbert - are either of these the person you are looking for?

1911 Census - Mansfield - is he the son of Charles Newcombe Mason and his wife, Sarah Ann?

Thats correct.  Don' think he has a middle name, but...

If he died in 1991 - his death reg shows his birthdate as 16.6.1903.  Birth on freebmd Sept qtr 1903 - GRO online shows mmn as Bowler

Probate shows d. 21/02/1991 Charles Mason 16 High Oakham Hill, Mansfield.
So no middle name.  Freebmduk states d.1991 b. 1904. Unless I have made an error in year.

The Charles Mason who died 1991 married Diddie Draper in 1930 in Birmingham. She died 1984 - birthdate 20.2.1984

A son b 1933 in Mansfield.  Are you sure you are researching the right person?

The 1911 shows Charles Newcombe Mason and wife Sarah Ann plus all the children.
"Charles Mason b. 1904 Mansfield"
The 1939 shows C.N.M and Sarah Ann plus  children Richard 1911, Thomas 1913 and Harold 1915.  All the other children were married prior to 1939.
The  only marriage I cannot find is for "Charles Mason".  On ANC several trees have  Florence Draper(aka Dawson) and this includes the Mason Family Tree.  It gives the right parents and Charles d.o.b.  I cannot see the tree as don't have "subs"for ANC.
