Sarah Banham who turns into Sarah Cotter is here in 1871

William Wilby 78 head
Elizabeth Wilby 74 wife
Leah Wilby 26 daughter
Sarah Banham 18 granddaughter

so that supports Wilby as MMN for Hannah but would be helpful to find rest of the family in 1871
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

How about this for James 1871 as transcribed but could easily be Banham

James Bantum 21 unmarried servant (groom) born Norwich Norfolk

Living Croydon Surrey

Really need to know what he put on his marriage certificate.

Looking at the 1871 transcribed as Bantum, it could certainly be Banham.  So we are looking at a change of name plus multiple mix-ups.  Why aren't these people straightforward?  ???  Thanks, folks.

Sorry to keep asking but who does he put as his father on the marriage certificate?

All the information on that is important.
