Baptism/parents of Parnel/Parnell TAYLOR abt 1775 *COMPLETED WITH THANKS*
« on: Monday 08 November 21 11:41 GMT (UK) »
Parnel/Parnell TAYLOR & Joseph NEWINGTON, farmer of Horsmonden married 21 Jun 1796 at Rochester, St Nicholas.  A possible year of birth for Parnel is 1775.

In the 1841 Census was noted she was born in Kent.

Parnel died 12 Jan 1847 and her death registered at Tonbridge.  As yet I am unable to locate her burial.

I am hoping for assistance to locate Parnel's parents and her date of baptisms please.

In addition any ideas where her remains were interred and a date of burial please?

Hi
The burial is at Horsmondam st Margaret 18.1.1847 age 72 of Horsmondam.
There's a possible apprenticeship 1789 to Mary Dunkerton millner of the Strand.

They married by licence.  I'm not sure that many Rochester diocese licences have survived but worth looking.  It  might name her father.

Thank you very much Maid of Kent and Bearkat.

I will close the post now and hopefully someone may come acoss some clue.  I cannot imagine the forename of Parnell would have been very common. Perhaps her mother was PARNELL as a surname?
