Victoria Terrace
« on: Saturday 20 November 21 14:13 GMT (UK) »
Hi, could anyone tell me if there is or was such a place as Victoria Terrace in Limerick,  I have a 1885 wedding cert and  the bride gives her address as this and was hoping to find out more from the location.

If you search for it, one comes up for Victoria Terrace, South Circular Rd, Limerick and there are photographs for house sales etc.

On the GeoHive National Townland and Historical Map Viewer Historic 25" Map (1897-1913), Victoria Terrace is on the South Circular Road (as heywood has said).

Thanks for the reply heywood,  yes I have googled it myself before posting I should have worded the topic a bit more as I was hoping someone could tell me what the place would have been back then as her dad was down on the cert as a labourer so was she a servant at the terrace or was it a hospital or something other.

They are readily found on Streetview - opposite Laurel Villas. The best view is to go a few yards along Laurel Hill Ave.
