But the result said Shotts Eastern.

May I recommend that if you mean the county you call it Lanarkshire or the County of Lanark, and use Lanark on its own only if you mean the town or parish of Lanark? The same would also apply to other counties that share a name with a parish within the county. It could save a lot of confusion in future.

I see what you mean about the result showing Shotts, I have just looked at it again - however the county list shows Lanark for Lanarkshire and that's what I was going off.
