Alexander MCCOMBIE arr New York April 1871

Grateful if some kind person is able to check passenger arrival records into New York around 29 April 1871.
I am looking for an Alexander McCombie born c 1852, Scotland.
I am seeking to find out:
- did he travel on his own?
- also whether a Jane McCombie or Jane Taylor (born c 1846 New Deer, Scotland) accompanied him?

I don't have access to Ancestry USA/Canada records.
