A search in the newspaper archive for Thomas Forrest, wool broker produced a number of hits. The Dundee Courier 1 April 1952 has details of the will of Emma Rufus Forrest.

The largest number of hits are from 1884/1885 concerning the bankruptcy of the firm of Girdwood and Forrest, wool brokers. Lots of detail in the Glasgow Herald of 11 Dec 1884 regarding what seems to be a complex situation.
