HEDGES Family - Potsgrove, Bedfordshire

Hi,  I am looking for help in tracing the HEDGES family from Potsgrove, Bedfordshire.   My 3rd Great Grandmother Elizabeth HEDGES married James John OLIVE on 11th November 1821.   From the 1861 Census, I found that she was 61 and born in Bedfordshire.   The 41 and 51 Censuses had different dates, but the only record I could find for an Elizabeth Hedges was one for 1800 baptised in Potsgrove on 8th June 1800 - parents Edward Hedges and Anne.   I found two other records - Richard Hedges baptised 1797 and Mary Ann Hedges baptised 1802 - they must be the same family.   Does anyone have any other information.

The Beds FHS transcripts don't have any more info than what you already have, other than the exact baptism dates.

They do have another baptism though, again at Potsgrove:
05 Mar 1795 Edw Hedges son of Edw & Ann


The Beds FHS have put their surname indexes online, and looking through those I can't see any other candidates for Elizabeth.

If it's any interest, the Beds FHS transcripts have only one burial (and no marriages) of Hedges at Potsgrove.
