I'm trying to find where my Grandad is buried in Dublin, I've been looking for a little while now with no luck so after reading the posts on here I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction.
I know that my Grandad was from Manchester area and married my Grandmother in Dublin in March 1934 (I've attached what I can find regarding this - marriage of Susan Sheridan and
Christopher Foy), my mum was born in April 1935 but I can't even find that. They lived in the Island Bridge/Inchicore area.
My Grandad died when my mum was between 10 and 15 years old I believe (unfortunately my mum passed away when I was a child so my knowledge is pretty sparse). I know they didn't have much money when grandad died and I've been told he was in an unmarked grave as a result. I'm drawing a total blank in finding any info of his final resting place, and it probably sounds daft as I never knew him but I'd like to put flowers there on my next visit to Dublin. I found my Grandmother’s grave a few years ago when I went (she died a year before I was born, she's buried in Esker) and I'd be happy if I could also find his.
I've just ordered a copy of the marriage certificate and my mums birth certificate in the hope it'll have my Grandads date of birth to help narrow the search down, if anyone can point me in the right direction as to where to look next I'd be so grateful. Thanks in advance
