I can share the birth of a person with their parents by selecting from the database but if the couple have 10 children I am repeating the operation over and over. Can I select all 10 children and share their births with their common parents in a single operation.

Yes. From the Edit Person Screen, Share Button, Add multiple People Button.

No Bob. Edit person does not give me a "share" option. I can only get that on a fact eg Birth. That allows me to share the birth fact with the parents but only for that one child, not the other 9 children.
