Ann Le Cronier 1881 & 1891
« on: Thursday 20 January 22 12:46 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

Ann was born in Grouville in 1873. I have a copy of her in the Vingtaine de Faldouet in St. Martin in 1881, at what I think says ‘Bas des Puchols’? I’m not sure. I believe she’s in St. Martin in 1891 too, but I don’t have the address or vingtaine, so if anyone could please find those for me, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Hi Adam

The 1891 census has her living in St Saviour with parents Louis and Ann. The previous entry suggests they were living on the main road to St Martin.

Thanks Stewart! Can you please find the address for Louis and Ann in 1871 too? I have it down they’re in St. Martin with their newborn son Ernest.

Louis and "Annie" are there but no Ernest.

No road names, only what looks like Fauvel's House.

Although the 1881 census says he's 10 years old, he could have been born after the 1871 census.
There is a birth certificate at St Martin's births, 1866-1873, page 55 but they aren't online. I cannot see a baptism record in St Martin.

Thanks Stewart! I imagine Ernest was christened at Our Lady in St. Martin, as his parents were Catholics and Ann was christened there.
