Tuck Toronto obit please
« on: Friday 21 January 22 00:24 GMT (UK) »
I have found two different dates for the death of Muriel Matilda Tuck nee Mills and would like to know if either is correct. Muriel was the wife of James Sterling Clifford Tuck. The dates that I have found are 28 Apr 1961 and 19 Apr 1961.

Not seeing her in the papers with a name search.   I checked for her a few days around both of the dates you gave, and I don't see her.

Thanks RK and Sandra. I saw the find a grave record but I would have liked to have been able to have confirmed it.

Surely they would use the death date as per inscription on headstone rather than a burial date.

If she is buried in Kirkland Lake/Timiskaming, instead of Toronto, perhaps that is the better place to look for an obituary?   Perhaps a local library could help you out.

I agree with Sandra - I would assume the date on the stone is the date of death.

I will see what I can find out. In regard to info posted on Find A Grave it is not always accurate. On more than one occasion I have found that what is posted differs from obits or burial records.

To a certain extent I can agree that info posted is not always accurate but this is a photograph of the  inscription giving date of death and the actual stone.

Will be interested in what you discover.
