Lithuania Vitartas Help
« on: Friday 28 January 22 19:43 GMT (UK) »
Hello!

I have some family in Lithuania and cannot get past my 2nd-3rd great grandparents.
Theres a few people I need help with, any information you have would be great but i really need their parents names, birthdays, etc :)

1. Matthew (Motiejus) Vitartas born 24 Feb 1886 in Lapkasės, Lithuania. He immigrated to Braddock, PA around 1903 with his wife Anna (Ona) "Annie" Pazenolis (Pozingis/Pozingice) though theres a couple spellings of her last name. She was also from Lithuania, or parts of soviet Lithuania. I would like to know anything on Matthews side

2. Shim Kavicus and her husband John Pozingis, both were born in Lithuania I have no other information on them expect for their daughter Mary Pozingis/Vitartas who was born in 1867.

3. Magdalen Stoves and George Pozingis are the last people, both born in Lithuania "Litvinian" used at the time. I also have no information on them expect for their son Jonas "John" Pozingis (the husband of Mary) he was born in 1858 in Lithuania or Latvia (probably Lithuania) and died on 2 APR 1925 in Braddock.

I don't have any birth years sadly

thank you so much!!!

Why do you think that he immigrated with his wife? Maybe I'm looking at the wrong family but it seems that Mathew and Anna did not get married until 1909/10 and that Anna immigrated as a 10y child with her mother ...
